In this current role, Anna is responsible for all the traditional aspects of being a Finance and HR manager as well as project managing the Science Learning Partnership for the Derby/Nottingham areas, and the STEM Club Champion project for the East Midlands region.
Whilst working with DTSA, Anna has been part of the team that has won a Silver Pearson Teaching Award for ‘Impact through Partnership’, and in a previous role was given an award for ‘Biggest influence in payroll and pension’ by the IPPM.
Anna is currently studying for a Masters in Charity Finance and has used this opportunity to develop DTSA’s marketing and financial procedures to make a real impact for beneficiaries and trustees alike.
Outside of the office, Anna is an advocate for lifelong learning and spends her time tutoring GCSE maths and encouraging people to upskill wherever possible, taking particular delight in meeting people she has taught many years later and finding out where their skills took them: “There is no reason for anyone to feel that maths and finance are beyond them. With the right explanations anything is possible”.
