Building your Independent Examination skills – with the help of the ACIE workbook

This course covers the practical aspects of tackling Independent Examinations, from taking on a new client to signing off the Independent Examiner’s Report, drawing on the ACIE workbook as a resource for organising processes.

By the end participants will understand the legal requirements and good practice set out in the Charity Commission’s Directions for Independent Examiners and feel more confident about how to apply these in their work. 

There will be a mixture of informal ‘lecture’ style & workshop sessions with plenty of opportunity for exchange of ideas and experience. 

This course is for people with knowledge of charity accounting who are new to or have some experience of independent examinations and are looking to develop their practice. 

The course is open to members and non-members.
