As policies of austerity continue across the U.K., we’re seeing demand for charitable services increase whilst support for small charities drops away. In such tough times, Independent Examiners can play an even more crucial role in supporting good governance and sound financial practice across the sector.
To kick off proceedings we have two keynote speakers: Firstly we will hear from David Robb, CEO of OSCR, providing an update from the regulator straight from the top. Then we will shine a spotlight on Scottish charity ambassador and campaigner Matthew McVarish from The Road to Change.
As well as a packed programme of technical workshops, there is an opportunity to attend a consultation on developments with the Charity SORP, and to have your voice heard on ACIE’s future development.
